My husband and I have just returned from several weeks in Kenya with the Medical Benevolence Foundation of the Presbyterian Church whose primary mission is to bring medical services to the poorest of the poor in the name of Jesus. We helped at Tumutumu Hospital, several outpatient clinics, a school for the deaf, visited several orphanages for orphans and street children, a boarding school for mentally challenged, sewing and bead cooperatives which were started to help women be more self sufficient. We're sure we gained much more than we gave and would be interested in sharing our impressions of that part of the mission of the Presbyterian Church. We have photos and would be available to share with a Sunday School class or another group if there is an interest.
